Mechanism

Optimization without data is guessing.

The foundational panel covers a complete metabolic panel, complete blood count, A1c and fasting glucose, a full lipid profile, thyroid function and core hormones.

It exists to answer one question before you spend money on treatment: what is actually happening in your body right now?

You get a clinician's written interpretation, not a PDF of numbers with reference ranges and no explanation.

Evidence

What the research shows.

Baseline lab work is standard of care before initiating hormone therapy, GLP-1 treatment or longevity protocols.

It also catches unrelated findings — thyroid dysfunction, anaemia, prediabetes — that commonly explain symptoms people attribute to something else.

Safety and eligibility

Your consult and labs screen for all of the following.

  • Fasting is required for accurate glucose and lipid results.
  • Morning draws are preferred for testosterone and cortisol.
  • Tell your provider about supplements, particularly biotin, which interferes with several assays.
  • Lab results are interpreted in the context of symptoms, never in isolation.

FAQ

Foundational Panel questions.

A complete metabolic panel, complete blood count, A1c and fasting glucose, full lipid profile, thyroid function and core hormone markers — plus a clinician's written interpretation.

Yes, for accurate glucose and lipid measurement. A morning draw is also preferred because testosterone and cortisol follow a daily rhythm and are highest early.

Most results return within three to five business days of your draw, along with a clinician-written interpretation explaining what each marker means for you.
